New report launched by QURECA and Quantum ARC in June 2026
Scotland is building one of the world’s most significant quantum technology ecosystems. Inside Scotland’s Quantum Ecosystem: From Capability to Strategic Edge, published by QURECA on behalf of Quantum ARC, maps Scotland’s strengths across research, industry, infrastructure and talent, making the case that Scotland is uniquely placed to become the global go-to for the enabling hardware and integrated systems that make quantum technologies deployable in the real world.
With Greater Glasgow ranked fifth among quantum clusters worldwide and Scotland contributing around 40% of UK quantum research output, this report sets out where Scotland stands and where it’s headed.
The report is authored by Dr Araceli Venegas-Gomez, Founder and CEO of QURECA, and Abhishek Purohit, Technology & Strategy and QURECA and Doctoral Researcher, University of Glasgow.
