The Quantum ARC is thrilled to support the launch of Quantcore, the latest spinout company from the University of Glasgow. Led by CEO Dr Jack Brennan, Quantum ARC Project Manager, Quantcore has raised £2.5m in private investment to design, manufacture, and test superconducting processors, resonators, and sensors that form the core of quantum computers and advanced sensing systems.
Dr Jack Brennan said: “We launched Quantcore to take our research breakthroughs out of the lab at the University of Glasgow and into industry. Scotland has world-class expertise in quantum technology through its universities, and we want to help translate that strength into real commercial impact.
“Manufacturing advanced technology here in Glasgow strengthens the UK’s supply chains and creates high-value opportunities across a number of sectors, from healthcare to advanced computing.
